On April 30th, We performed a high‑energy musical cruise in: "Rolling on the River: Destination New Orleans!"
The journey along the Mississippi brought the spirit of the Crescent City to life with classic jazz, soulful swing, and big‑band favorites inspired by America’s great river city ports of call.
Adding authentic New Orleans flavor, the evening featured a live Dixieland ensemble led by Dr. Adrien Re, saxophonist par excellence and professor at Campbell University.
With lively storytelling, charismatic performers, and unforgettable music, this was a night of rhythm, joy, and pure riverboat magic. Let the good times roll!
Neuse River Big Band's Swinging Holiday played to a nearly full house at the Garner Performing Arts Center on December 11th. We played many old favorites, several more contemporary songs (Elvis, Mariah Carey) featured two songs arranged by Gordon Goodwin, and, saved Christmas so that Santa could deliver his toys on Christmas Eve!
